Klein

R. KENT KLEIN is a partner in Klein, Lundmark, Barberich & LaMont, P.C. He is certified by the Arizona State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in workers’ compensation law. Mr. Klein’s practice emphasizes workers’ compensation and occupational disease defense, representing insurance carriers and self-insured employers in matters before the Industrial Commission. Prior to entering into the formation of Klein, Lundmark, Barberich & LaMont, P.C. in 2003, Mr. Klein was workers’ compensation defense counsel with the State Compensation Fund of Arizona (1968-74), and with the firm of Lewis and Roca LLP (1974-2002). He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. Klein was a founding member and first vice-president of the Arizona Compensation Defense Counsel Association and served as the association’s president the following year. He has served as co-chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. Klein is currently chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Commission to the Arizona State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He has given a number of presentations on workers’ compensation law at Arizona State Bar seminars and continuing legal education programs sponsored by various organizations. Mr. Klein received both his B.A. degree, with high distinction, and his J.D. degree from the University of Arizona. He is listed among The Best Lawyers in America.
